HOOKED SET OUT TO BRIDGE THAT GAP
As college students, we spent too much time everyday deciding where to go eat. On top of that, our budget constraints ultimately led to eating at the same few restaurants. On the flip side, restaurants struggled to connect with the surrounding college demographic especially on their smart phones. Print materials are costly, social media marketing is ineffective, and none of these options create the urge or intent for a customer to go into the restaurant.
HOOKED WAS BORN.
We've built an app that provides users instant gratification when deciding where to eat by showing exclusive deals at the top restaurants around campus. Our platform is designed to allow restaurants to reach hungry students on their phones and bring them through the door during targeted times. The Hooked app is able to influence decisions by leveraging factors such as time, location, and price, all within the palm of your hand.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
When initially launching Hooked at the University of Texas, we were able to achieve our one-year growth metric goal within the first semester! Since then, Hooked has hit the ground running and spread like wildfire within the US college scene. Today we're in 23 of the top U.S. college markets and preparing for another wave of expansion this fall. Stay tuned for more as Hooked reinvents the way college students eat and drink.
